Open Studio 28th May - 5th June
Visitors are always welcome to my studio, but this year I am also a participating artist in Open Studios North Cornwall. I would love to welcome you in while I paint and show you my work. You’ll find not only original paintings, but limited edition Giclee prints, cards and all the information for my summer art retreats, workshops and art classes. And if you have anything particular in mind for a commissioned piece, please feel free to ask!
Being part of North Cornwall Open Studios will allow me to share what I do, and if through showing my work I can inspire others to paint themselves all the better. Art is therapy as they say, and I can’t say fairer than that!

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Art Tutor. I have very fond memories of filming in Liverpool over the years with you and I’m going to miss you all!. I know just how much artists valued the wonderful, enjoyable lessons the tutors and you guys provided to create what was a pretty unique and wide-ranging art-teaching resource.
While I am extremely sad that ArtTutor has had to come to an end, I am looking forward to selling my video courses direct from my website. My video collection includes several lessons and courses covering various drawing and painting techniques such as ink, watercolour and mixed media.

If anyone is interested in joining me for some arty fun, I have some exciting summer workshops planned! Heads up- numbers are limited to just 6 if painting in my barn studio, and to just 8 if painting at the coast and they’re getting booked up fast, so if you don’t want to miss out please book early! Featured with Dorling and Kindersley
I recently collaborated with Dorling Kindersley on two art books;
'Watercolour Techniques for Artists and Illustrators' and 'The Artist's Manual'. The first is a practical watercolours book with step-by-step techniques, such as wet-on-dry, mark making etc. The second covers all media and emphasises the way people can use art in the modern day. It includes a mixture of materials spreads such as Gums, Waxes & Resins and techniques spreads (which focus on ways to achieve the techniques themselves).

Tintangel Market
I had a lovely, fun day at Tintagel selling limited edition prints and cards last week. Thank you to all those that came and for all the heart-warming comments, and of course to those that bought my prints! Big thanks also to Jane and Denise of ‘Dig This Wood’ fame, who very sweetly shared their pitch with me.
